Thomas was preceded in death by his parents Edward "Joe" Cunningham and Anne Cunningham (nee Fitzpatrick); Beloved husband of Eileen Cunningham (nee Hamill); Loving father to Ryan Cunningham, Shannon (Scott) Hager, Anne (Nicholas) McDonald, and Kelly (Nicholas) Wedster; Grandfather to Cooper, Mary Kate, Hailey, Jack, Keira, Emma, Corragh, Ania, and Caileigh; Dear brother to the late Joanne (the late Lloyd) Arroyo, the late Maureen (Richard) Terry, Barbara (the late George) Fisher, Rita (the late Joseph) Giampa, the late Eileen Cunningham, Edward (the late Patricia) Cunningham, Margaret "Peggy" (the late Richard) Hanrahan, and the late Patricia Cunningham. Loving cousin, uncle, and friend to so many others.

A Mass of Christian burial will occur Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at 9:30 AM at St. Christina Catholic, 11005 S. Homan, Chicago, IL 60655. Interment to immediately follow at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery, 6001 W. 111th Street, Alsip, IL 60803.
