Leah Therese Fisher left this world on April 11, 2013 at the age of 62.

Leah was born to Samuel George and Barbara Ellen Fisher on July 8, 1950 in Seattle. She lived with her family at their home in Anacortes until the early sixties. The family then moved to their ranch on Hungry Junction Road in Ellensburg when she was 15. She graduated from Ellensburg High School in 1968.

Leah had a huge heart and wore it on her sleeve. She was always known and loved for her gentle touch both physically and mentally toward humans and animals alike. Because of this she was an exceptional caregiver. She was a very spiritual person and had a deep love for God's word. Leah was a free spirit in the truest form and had a love for any outdoor adventure. She loved spending time with family and friends, horseback riding, camping, going to the beach, or traveling. She and her two sisters made many trips to Mexico. The three were rarely apart. She loved a good book, enjoyed writing, and was talented at drawing, playing the piano and singing. Leah was a loving mother and grandmother. In the past few years, one of her greatest pleasures was the time she got to spend with her daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren. She cherished her visits with her grandbabies and loved watching them grow.

Leah is survived her sister Laurie Fisher, daughter Nichole (Mike) Gray, grandchildren Cale Lee, Callen Michael and Cassie Jo Gray, nieces Tesa Thayer and Julie Sullivan, great nephews Roger Sullivan and Keith Issac, nephew Dustin (Deana) Noyes, great nieces Amber Hull, Miranda Hull and Josette Hull, nephew Levi Noyes, great Niece Addison Noyes, her very best friend Cindy Adams and her special love Ken Nickel. Leah is preceded in death by her father, mother, and her sister Dana.

Leah left us far too soon and will be deeply missed by many. A celebration of her life will be held pot luck style on May 11, 2013 at 11:00 AM, at the Hal Holmes in Ellensburg.
