Margaret M. Jenkins formerly of Dorchester, passed away January 1, 2022. Beloved daughter of the late James Jenkins & Gertrude F. (Smith) Jenkins. Loving sister of the late James J. Jenkins, & Millie Young. Devoted aunt to her nephews and great-nephews. Also survived by many loving cousins.
Margaret grew up in Dorchester where she was educated in the Boston Public School system and graduated from Jeremiah E. Burke High School. Margaret worked for Boston Gas Company/National Grid for 40 years as the Editor of the company's newsletter. She was a member of the Castle Island Association and volunteer at the Massachusetts Archives and Commonwealth Museum. Margaret was an exceptional woman who had numerous friends whom she cherished dearly. She was devoted to her faith and to her family.
