Steven Dewayne Jones, 73, passed away January 1, 2022.
A native of Greer, son of the late John Roy and Evelyn Alice Quinn Jones, he was a retired employee of Greenville Machinery, of the Baptist faith and was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.
Surviving are his wife, Peggy LaDon Deshields Jones of the home; two daughters, Latasha Pruitt (Aaron) of Inman and Ladonna Manis (Scott) of Spartanburg; one stepdaughter, Tanga Moody (Tim) of Greer; one stepson, Craig Allen (Sherry) of Lyman; eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was also predeceased by one sister, Linda Jones.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at Wood Memorial Park.
