He served in the United States Army from 1974 to 1978 having been stationed in Germany.
Tim was employed at Chicago Northwestern Railroad, Vulcan, Amron, and the Antigo Fitness Center.
He will be remembered as a hard-working man who put family first and was an avid Green Bay Packer fan.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Katie; two sons, John Michael (significant other Krysten) Hale of Birnamwood and William T. Hale of Antigo; daughter-in-law, Chevy Hale; nine grandchildren, Mikayla, Tyler, John Joseph, Dennis, Violet, Thora, Elondra, Psymon, and Thomas; two great-grandchildren, Cree and Harvey; two sisters, Sandra Lawyer of Antigo and Valerie (Kurt) Lex of Appleton; and sister-in-law, Denise (Hale) Hanson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Earl "Curt" Hale; and a brother-in-law, Doug Lawyer.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 6, 2022, at 11 a.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home. Military honors will take place at the funeral home following the service. Burial will take place in Elmhurst Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
