Mary Elizabeth Sanders, 91, of Macon died Friday, December 31, 2021.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 6, 2022, at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street Chapel. The Reverends Steve Johnson and Danny Allen will officiate, and burial will be held at Middle Georgia Memory Gardens. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home.

Mrs. Sanders was a nurses' aide at Bell Arbor Nursing Home and was a part-time hairstylist. She loved arts and crafts.

Mrs. Sanders is survived by her six children: Sheila Wright of Athens, Georgia; James Sanders (Deborah) of Eatonton, Georgia; Sandra Paulk of Ellaville, Georgia; Gilbert Sanders of Macon; Lee McBryde (Kerry) of Lizella; and Allen Sanders (Margaret) of Kingwood, Texas; 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Johnnie Reich of Macon; brother, Frank Davis of Macon; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandson, Travis Wright.
