Anna Marie (Banner) Rattay, 87, of Allegheny Township, PA, passed away on Friday, December 31, 2021 at Concordia at Cabot.

A daughter of the late Murnis Banner and Anna Marie (Gasdek) Banner, she was born July 15, 1934, in Loyalhanna, PA.

Anna was a 1952 graduate of George's High School in York Run, PA. She had been employed as an office manager by the Allegheny Township Municipal Authority for 38 years prior to her retirement in 2009. Anna also worked as a caterer for the Dobi Restaurant in Allegheny Township. She was an active member of Christ The King Parish in Gilpin Township where she participated in the church's Victorian Tea Committee. Her memberships and volunteerism also included the Allegheny Township Community Club, Red Hat Ladies, T.O.P.S., Kiski Valley Church Bowling League, and Meals on Wheels. Anna enjoyed cooking and baking, making her famous for her "Doodsie" rolls and stuffed cabbage. She was an avid Jeopardy! fan and also liked traveling to camp at "Althoms Up."

Survivors include her children, Kathy Arnold (Randy), Vivian Carter, Marty Rattay (Judy Koningh), Chrissy Addington (Tom), Michael Rattay (Jean), Joyce Rattay (Nathan Moore) and Matt Rattay (SuChong); 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Margaret Person (Robert) and Carolyn Kerr (Rudy); sister-in-law, Eileen Banner; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Martin F. Rattay in 2014; brothers, Murnis Banner and Lynn Banner; sisters, Bernice Diepenhorst and Mary Lou Magerko-Perrin.

Entombment will be in Greenwood Mausoleum, Lower Burrell, Pa
