This is purely theoretical, but quite likely, based on 1850 census, and church and wedding records. If correct, John is a son of John Adam Henry Weisensale and Margaretha (unknown surname, 1800 - 18 Mar 1882). He may have married Anna Maria Christina Snyder, if so that occurred on 25 Mar 1841 at Saint Matthew's Lutheran Church. Likely children resulting from that marriage include:
Henry Weisensale, 18 Oct 1842 - 7 Dec 1853;
William Weisensale, 24 Jan 1846 - 22 Dec 1923, m. Amanda Catherine Kump ; and
Catherine Weisensale, 27 Jan 1848 - 1 Apr 1909, m. William Henry Adams.This memorial has been created in this cemetery because John was specifically mentioned in an article in the 19 Sep 1972 edition of Hanover's The Evening Sun newspaper. The article was a public notice provided by Saint Matthew Lutheran Church listing by name all headstones still remaining in the cemetery behind the stone church, all of which were soon to be removed because of their state of deterioration. I have tried to find details for as many of them as possible. This person's remains may have been disinterred then re-interred elsewhere.
