The death is reported of Mrs E. Holmwood, wife of Mr Edgar Holmwood of Opaki and daughter of Mr W. U. Kummer of Opaki. We understand that Mrs Holmwood underwent an operation at the Wellington hospital and appeared to be making food progress when she took a sudden turn for the worse and expired on Saturday afternoon. Sincere sympathy will be felt for the bereaved family. The deceased's body was conveyed to Masterton noon to-day and place in St Matthew's Church. The funeral is taking place this afternoon
