"Mrs. Frances J Romick passed away very suddenly Monday afternoon in Pomona, California at her home as a result of heart trouble. She was a native of Newman, Florida*{obit typo-Newman is in Illinois} but had lived in Southern California for 15 years. She leaved behind to mourn her demise her son, Mr. J.W.Romick of Claremont, Ca., and her son Mr.W.S.Romick of Lordsburg, Ca.. and four daughters Mrs J.W.Edgar(Agnes) and Miss Minnie Romick of Pomona, Mrs.D.A.Chandler(Winnie)[typo; should be C.A. Chandler] of Ontario,Ca and Mrs.W.T.Pope(Della) of Oakland, and a sister Elizabeth Casebeer of Minneapolis".
