Myrtle Smith dies at 82 in Alhambra
Myrtle E. (Mrs. Fred) Smith former resident of Redlands for 25 years, died Saturday in Alhambra at the age of 82. Mrs. Smith was a native of Illinois. An active member of the Order of Eastern Star, she served as worthy matron of the Redlands Copa del Oro chapter in 1930.
She leaves her husband Fred three sons, Fred Jr. of South Pasadena, Archie J. of Alhambra and Harvey of Los Angeles; and a daughter, Audrey who lives in Arizona; also seven grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Rialto Memorial Park in Rialto.
