Charity Ann (Parrish) Smith passed away following a brief illness on October 2, 2021. She is survived by two daughters (Tara and Ivy), two grandsons, her mother, three sisters, eight nephews, and one niece. She was predeceased by her father, Charlie. She was born to Charles and Kathy Parrish on Christmas Eve 1971. A lifetime lover of cars (especially Chevys) she worked in the auto parts sales field for most of her adult life. She later realized a dream of finishing her degree when she graduated from New Mexico State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Science. Besides her children, her next great love was rock and roll. She loved everything from classic rock icons like Janis Joplin and Hendrix to 90's grunge music like Nirvana and Pearl Jam to 80's metal with bands like Metallica. Charity dreamed of one day returning to Italy where she spent her teen years when her mom was stationed there with the Air Force. She also hoped to embark on new travels and see natural wonders such as the Gallapagos Islands. Just shy of her 50th birthday, Charity left us too soon, but we, her family, will carry on and honor her memory with love in our hearts.
