1) Tom was born 7/22/31 in St. Louis MO to his Mother Hilda Owens (Suttmoeller) and Father Edward Owens.

2) He attended St. Gabriel grade school and liked playing soccer. He also went on to play in his high school years.

3) Attended Mcbride Catholic high school & graduated from southwest high school.

4) Knowing he would be drafted he joined the US Navy, served on the USS Picking and saw the world during the Korean war. He served 2yrs and returned home.

5) He then felt the Lord call him and became a Franciscan Brother for 2 yrs.

6) Started a career in the printing industry from which he retired.

7) We all know God calls the shots and thru his divine intervention & providence Tom met Shirley. Shirley was a Sister of St. Joseph for about 5yrs. What are the odds Brother meets and marries a Nun? They married in ?

8) At some point he became an AVID St. Louis Cardinal baseball fan. I would send him a Cardinal schedule every year so he could cheer them on.

9) Tom was a loving caring Man dedicated to the Lord and truly loved Shirley. He had a gr8 sense of humor and could really make U laugh. He treated people with dignity & respect.

10) He loved life and is now in the arms of Our Lord.
