Services for Earl E. Davis, 83, of Pollok, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 4, 2022 in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Davis Cemetery in Colmesneil.
Mr. Davis was born June 6, 1938 in Rockland, Texas, the son of the late Essie (Rawls) and John Wesley Davis. He passed away Friday, December 31, 2021 in a local hospital.
Mr. Davis was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He enjoyed being outdoors, riding horses, farming and being a cowboy. He was retired from the Abitibi papermill.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Davis was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Margaret Davis; his second wife, Shirley Davis; son, Wesley Davis; sister, Robbie Lee Byerly; and brothers, Willie Wesley Davis and Burtis Davis.
