Ms. Gloria "Glo" Lenessa Crawford, 61, of 313 Austin St, Burlington, NC, transitioned peacefully at Alamance Regional Medical Center on February 17, 2018.

Gloria was the daughter of the late Harvie Burnette Jr and the late Dorothy Marie Currie-Lee. She graduated from Willliams High School and then attended NC A&T State University for nursing. She worked at Barco on Rauhut St., Joe's Shopwell (alongside her father Harvie Jr), and finally Fresenius Kidney Care where she was able to use her clinical knowledge and compassion to assist patients to live healthier lives. Gloria later attended Alamance Community College to obtain an Early Childhood certification to fulfill her desire of becoming an entrepreneur. Shortly after completing her education she opened Led by a Child Daycare in Burlington,NC. The daycare was a blessing to many, including her granddaughter, Jaliyah Winstead, grandson, Zachary Winstead, India Parker, Minister Jayla Stewart and many others. God gifted Gloria with many talents including sewing, needle point, crocheting and creating designer cakes.

Gloria spent her life providing for her beloved family and friends. She had a love for people and enjoyed helping them however she could. Her family was blessed to have everything they needed and wanted without an apology. Gloria was a believer in Christ and raised her children on a Christian foundation. Though carrying the weight of an auto immune disease, Lupus, she woke up to conquer the world one step and breathe at a time. Glo enjoyed life early on as child. She never allowed anyone or anything to hold her from creating the best life for her family and friends. She was one of the most intelligent and masterminded women of her time.
