Patti and B.J. were married for 25 love-filled years until he passed in 1998. They were two opposites that shared an extraordinary attraction to each other. Their passion for life was forever deposited into their only child, their son, Kelly. He remains their ongoing legacy of strength and love for every animal and all mankind.
She worked for the Oklahoma City Water Department retiring from there to pursue her true love of animals, people, true crime drama, dining out with friends and family, and travel. The way people treat animals reveals a lot about their character, and the way Patti cared for animals revealed her sterling character of love, compassion, and willingness to fight for any one being mistreated or discriminated against. She wasn't financially wealthy, but the storehouse of riches she accumulated by caring for others cannot be calculated.
Her huge heart infected everyone she met with unconditional love and a passion for life. Patti loved everything sweet and preferred you not bother her while enjoying her sweet confections. Her close circle of friends have been forever changed from the time spent with her.
Patti is preceded in death by her parents, Troyce and Jeanette Reich and her husband, B.J., as well as her sister, Judy Howard. She is survived by her son, Kelly and her brother, Danny who now share a void left by Patti. She is also survived by 12 feral cats who she fed every day, and now that responsibility falls to Kelly and Danny.
Graveside services at the Mustang Cemetery will be conducted by Pastor Kevin Fouts on Tuesday, January 4th, 2021 at 10:00 AM.
