On October 17, 1954 at the Etterville Christian Church in Etterville, Missouri she was united in marriage to Robert "Bob" Jones who survives of the home.

Sisters, Ottolene Rush (Gerald) of Tuscumbia, MO; Joyce Rowland (Joe) of Tipton, MO
Five Nephews and three Nieces, and several great Nieces and Nephews and several cousins
She was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, June (Jones) Wright.
Joreen served our Lord faithfully. She was a lifetime member of the Etterville Christian Church and was baptized into Christ at the age of 14. She started playing the piano at the church as a very young girl and played the piano and organ for 75 years, bringing the music to life for the Lord and the congregation. She also taught Sunday School, worked with Vacation Bible School and was very active in the church. Joreen attended grade school in Etterville and was a 1951 graduate of Eldon High School. She was employed with the Missouri Division of Welfare in Jefferson City, Missouri for several years and later became postmaster of the Etterville Post Office for twenty years, following in her mother's footsteps, and retired in December 1999. She greatly enjoyed trips to Branson to celebrate her anniversary with her husband and family and dearly loved spending time with her family, church family and friends.
Visitation will be Sunday, January 2, 2022 from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with a Celebration of Life beginning at 4:00 PM with Brother Bill Lange officiating and Brother Lon Hardy assisting. Interment will be at Spring Garden Cemetery at a later date.
Memorials in her name are suggested to the Etterville Christian Church.
