George Henry Cooper Sr., 93, of St. Charles, passed away peacefully December 16, 2021 with his loving family by his side. He was born July 4, 1928 in Big Rock, IL son of the late John and Edith (Baker) Cooper.

He is survived by his daughters, Deborah Cooper and Theresa (Fred) Bright; grandchildren, Christina (Jared) Adam and Michael (Carrie) Bright; great-grandchildren, Abigail, Hannah Andrew Adam and Tyler, Gabrielle, Ross, twins Rachel and Julianne Bright as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, George was preceded in death by his son, George Cooper Jr., siblings, Mabel Sanmann, Shirley Leadbetter, Alice Davis, Carroll Cooper and the mother of his children, Jean Penczek.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 19, 2021 from 10 AM until time of service 11 AM at The Healy Chapel, 370 Division Drive, Sugar Grove, IL 60554 with a burial at River Hills Memorial Park, Batavia, IL.

The family would like to thank Seasons of Naperville for their care of Dad.
