Janice R. Blake, 91, of Ravenna, passed away on December 23, 2021.

She was born February 4, 1930, the daughter of Ralph and Dorothy (Whitney) Geiger.

She retired from Packard Electric in Warren, Ohio after 30 years of service.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her companion, Ray Liber; one brother, William Geiger; one daughter Robin Schlegelmilch; and one grandchild Alia Garritano.

Jan was extremely social and known as the "puzzle lady" at her assisted living residence at Vista Veranda in Ravenna. She was very kind and calming to her fellow residents as well as eager and willing to participate in activities provided. She had many, many friends as evidenced by her yearly Christmas card list written out by her daughter, Lori.

Jan is survived by one sister, Carla Altiere; two daughters, Bonnie (Gene) Garritano, Lori (Rick) Marchand; one son David (Kathleen) Blake; nine grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Per her request, Jan's body was donated to Northeast Ohio College of Medicine (NEOMED) in Rootstown. There will be no calling hours or funeral services.
