Grady E. Jones, 96, of Greenville, passed away Dec. 25, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Funeral services will be Friday, Dec. 31, 2021 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home, with Rev. James Seigler and Rev. Roy Youngblood officiating. Interment will follow the service at Hooker Ridge Cemetery in Rains County. Visitation will be Thursday, 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Grady was born June 20, 1925 in Atoka, Oklahoma to Thomas Henry Jones and Fannie May McDonald. Grady proudly served his country during World War II in the United States Army.
Grady was member of First Baptist Church of Greenville. Grady married Nonnie Wade on Nov. 9, 2000 in Greenville, Texas.
After 42 years of dedicated service to FEC, Grady retired. Grady was an active member of the Greenville Masonic Lodge for over 50 years.

Grady is survived by wife Nonnie of Greenville, Son Wayne Jones and wife Glinda of Greenville, daughter Pam Burns of Greenville, brother Tommy Jones, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Grady was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Linda Jones; sister, Joy Ellis; brother, W. D. Jones; Helen Jones; and son-in-law, Tommy Burns.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons and great-grandsons.
