Scott believed in hard, honest work and trying to enjoy each day as though it could be your last. As a lifelong dairy farmer devoted to providing for his family, he worked from dawn until dusk most every day, except maybe during hunting season. He spent as much time in the woods as he could and looked forward to an elk hunting trip to Montana each fall. He loved his Rottweilers, hanging out at the hunting cabin and eating prime rib. Above all, he found a special joy in all of his grandkids and he loved to make people laugh. He was deeply loved and respected not only by his family but his employees and any who did business with him.
Scott was preceded in death by all four of his grandparents, Elmer "Bud" and Esther (Kress) Schultz and Fred and Lillian (Pettengill) Wallace; and several aunts and uncles.
Scott is survived by his wife of 37 years, Sharon, of French Creek; their four children, Bethany (Douglas) Jackson, Joshua (Christine) Wallace, Jeremiah (Jillian) Wallace, and Rebekah Wallace; six grandchildren, Adelie, Mikaela and Isaac Jackson, Teagan Wallace and Eloise and Paden Wallace, plus one more grandchild on the way; his parents, Melvin and Judy Wallace; his sister, Kimberly (Terry) McCray, of Sherman, N.Y.; her three children, Charles and Jonathan McCray, Heather (Jacob) Genthner and her son Elijah; an uncle, William Schultz, and several cousins.
Friends and family are invited to call at Bracken Funeral Home, 315 N. Center St., Corry, Pa. on Tuesday, January 4th from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm.
