Son of Lem and Zelma Chandler. He was retired from Cobb County Board of Education where he taught for 31 years at Due West Elementary and Pine Mountain Middle School. He was a longtime member of Kennesaw First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife of 62 years, Sara Ann King Chandler; brother, Millard Chandler; and sister, Betty Jo Holcomb. Survivors include his wife, Vivian West; son, Stan T Chandler; daughter, Wanda C Rogers; granddaughter, Kya Branan Camp; grandson, Zachary T Chandler; great grandson, Daniel S Branan; and great granddaughter, Trinity F Branan.
