Richard E. "Dick" Donaldson, age 63, passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021, at Grant Regional Health Center in Lancaster. He was born on December 27, 1957, in Beetown, the son of Earl and Pauline (Thorpe) Donaldson. Dick graduated from Cassville High School in 1976 and furthered his education at Southwest Wisconsin Technical College, earning a degree in Appliance Repair. He owned and operated Donaldson Appliance Repair, serving most of Grant County. Dick also owned and operated Grant River Canoe Rental for 35 years. He loved people and spending time with his family, especially country line dancing with his wife, Marsha. Dick enjoyed trail riding, movies, Star Wars and Science Fiction. His smile and kind disposition will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his wife, Marsha; children: Breanna Donaldson, Joe Hendricks, and Jenny McCartney; three grandchildren: Max, Brady, and Payson; his sister, Etta (Forest) Slaght; two nieces: Lisa (Matt) Millin and Jennifer (Dave) Murphy; many cousins and friends.
Dick was preceded in death by his parents.
