Jean grew up in the Blackjack Community. She married Carl Butler in 1952 and raised their two children Susan and Wendell in Chireno.
Mrs. Butler loved the outdoors and her yard. She could always be seen mowing her yard several times a week. Her dog Tinker was her best companion. Her kids and grandkids were her pride and joy!
Mrs. Butler is survived by her son Carl Wendell, daughter Susan Hurst, grandkids Drew, Wes and Madison, and great grandbaby Parker Hurst. Jean is preceded in death by husband Carl Butler, son-in-law Dennis Hurst, sister Wilma Bush, and brothers Bo, Buck, Pete, Wayne and Roy Anthony.
Graveside service will be Saturday, January 1, 2022 at Blackjack Cemetery with Brother John Wahl officiating and Laird Funeral Home.
