Funeral services for Mr. Richard Wayne Hart will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, with Reverend Roger Toney officiating.
Interment will follow in Alexandria Memorial Gardens, Woodworth, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.
Mr. Hart, 66, of Ball, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria, Louisiana.
He was a native of Florida and a U. S. Marine Veteran.
He worked for many years as a roofer for Seegers Roofing in Shreveport. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his step-father, James Mallory Chavers Jr..
Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include two sons, John Long, of Shreveport, and Matthew Hart, of Tioga; his mother, Dorothy Chavers, of Ball; two sisters, Candace Naylor, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Patricia Bridges, of Toledo Bend; one grandson; and two granddaughters.
A time of visitation will be held in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until time of services.
