She was born in Wayne County, West Virginia, on June 30, 1928, daughter of the late Marion and Shirley Workman Bellomy.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Roy Smith of Somerset; sons, George (Lillie) O'Dell of Newark, Del., Donald O'Dell of Somerset, James (Patricia) O'Dell of New Castle, Del.; daughters Mary (Bruce) DuHadaway and Shirley (Joe) Games, both of Middleton, Del., Peggy (Robert) Powell of Newark, Del., and Sandra O'Dell (fiancé, John Hargan) of Townsend, Del.; step-sons John Smith of Washington and Jerry (Melanie) Smith of Florida; step-daughter Rita (David) Conley of South Carolina; 30 grandchildren, 64 great-grandchildren and 29 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, George O'Dell, one daughter, Gloria Ann O'Dell and one sister, Nellie Maxine Brown. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2018, at Rollins Funeral Home, Kenova, W.Va. Visitation will be two hours before the service at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Henry Hatton Cemetery.
