A native of Haywood County, he was the son of the late Ruth Conard Ledford. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Sonja and Shelia. He owned and operated James Lawn Care for over 25 years. He had a green thumb and enjoyed gardening, being a jokester, hunting, and fishing. Danny was a kind and generous man that loved sharing his harvest from his garden with anyone in need. Many days you could find Danny eating at Pioneer Restaurant in Clyde. He was a simple man that loved his family dearly and treasured being a papaw.
Left to cherish Frank's memory are his children, Skye (Charles) Newell and Aaron (LeeAnn) James; brother, Bobby Hightower; and grandchildren, Ella, Aurora, Nicholi, and Everett.
A Celebration of Danny's Life will be held at 3pm Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Pinnacle Church in Canton.
