Jason Michael Johnston, 47, of Peru, IN passed away tragically in Walton, IN on Thursday, Dec. 23, 2021 doing what he loved to do as a logger and lumberjack.
Born on Nov. 20, 1974 in Peru, he was the son of Michael and Doris (Morgan) Johnston.
He was a 1993 Maconaquah High School graduate.
Jason enjoyed puzzles, fishing, and tinkering in his garage.
Survivors include his son, Tyler Johnston, daughter, Janét Johnston, parents, Michael and Doris Johnston, brother, George Johnston (Dawn), grandmother, Anna Marie Johnston and 3 nieces.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Virginia and J.P. Morgan and
George Johnston.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 30, 2021 at Riverview Funeral Home, 421 W. Canal St., Peru. A Memorial Service will follow at 7:00 p.m.
