Mark Carney of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away December 28, 2021, in Nashville, Tennessee, at the age of 55. He was born September 6, 1966, in Moline, Illinois, the son of Leo "Bud" Carney and Kathleen Belha Carney.

He married Jodi Graves on August 13, 1994, in Crossett, Arkansas, and was a long-time attorney in Mountain Home. Mark enjoyed sailing, watching the Razorbacks, Cubs baseball, and most of all watching his son play baseball.

Mark is survived by his wife, Jodi Carney; son, Maddox Carney of Mountain Home, Arkansas; sister, Janet (David) Croom of Vero Beach, Florida; parents, Bud and Kathy Carney of Vero Beach, Florida; niece, Katie Croom; nephew Major Croom; in-laws, Joe and Jane Graves of Mountain Home, Arkansas

Visitation will be at College and North Street Church of Christ in Mountain Home, Arkansas, on Friday, December 31, 2021, from 12:00 pm until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 pm, with Brother Ken Burton, officiating. Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery with Terry Small, Johnny Adamson, Lance Gross, Brian Carson, Keith Grayson, Layton Lee, and Mark Cooper as pallbearers.
