Julie was a native of Biloxi, Mississippi and lifelong resident of the MS Gulf Coast. She was of Catholic faith and attended St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Ocean Springs, Mississippi.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack J. Perez and June Champlin Perez.
Julie's survivors include her husband of 17 years, E. Wayne Bond, Jr., two brothers, Jeffrey Perez and Steven (Mona) Perez, a sister, Cathy Perez (Bill) O'Neil, one son, Matthew (Allyson) Perez, one step-daughter, Jennifer (James) David, one step-son, Aaron (Taylor) Bond, five grandchildren, Jack Henry Perez, Bayla Perez, Luke Perez, Emmett David and Amelia Bond.
She graduated from MS Gulf Coast Community College with a degree in nursing and worked over 35 years in the healthcare industry as a Registered Nurse (RN) where she excelled in bedside patient care. Julie was an extremely compassionate and caring person whose family and friends loved her deeply.
The family would like to extend much appreciation to Dr. Michael Finan, SRHS Cancer Services and Hospice of Light for their care and healthcare provided.
Visitation will be on Friday, January 7th, 2022 from 11:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. with a Noon chapel service, all at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford - O'Keefe Funeral Homes.
Interment will follow at the Biloxi National (VA) Cemetery.
