BAY CITY - Funeral services for Arlene Wilcox Taylor, 52, formerly of Bay City, who passed away Feb. 27, 2008, will be held Saturday, March 8, 2008, at 2 p.m., at Mother Zion Baptist Church, Bay City, with the Rev. Murray Martin, eulogist. Burial will follow at Eastview Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday from 2-8 p.m. at the chapel.

She was born February 4, 1956, in Bay City, Texas.
She leaves to cherish her memories two sons, Theran Taylor, (Nikki), Lloyd Taylor of La Marque; six sisters, Zella Jackson, Irene Hynson (Henry), Cleo Ward, Brenda Parker (Earnest) of Texas City, Josie Childs and Charlotte Wilcox of Houston; three brothers, Marvin Wilcox, Mitchell Wilcox and Kenneth Wilcox (Pam) all of Bay City, Texas; three grandchildren; god parents, Jessie and Sally Walker of Texas City and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins , friends, and aunt, Lee Anna Lewis of La Marque; also co-workers of TDC & Local #116 of Texas City, Texas.
A wake will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2008, at Mainland Funeral Home from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2008, at Matthew Zion Baptist Church in Bay City, 2705 Ave. B with the Rev. Murray Martin officiating.
