Retired farmer and former Pioneer Hybrid Corn Company Salesman. He grew up on the farm on Davisson Road, in the house built by his grandfather, on land settled by his great-grandparents. The latter lie in the Nation Chapel cemetery adjoining the farm.

He was a member Nation Chapel United Methodist Church, and of various Masonic organizations including Lodge #113 F&AM. Member of Science Hill Grange. Former member of Steam Threshers Association, Champaign County Farm Bureau, Pleasant Township school board and board of the Mutual Savings and Loan, Mechanicsburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Clifford and Nellie Belle; his first wife, VonCella; one daughter, Margaret; one son, Raymond; two brothers, Floyd and Bruce.

He was survived by his wife, Betty M. (Damewood) Fell Davisson, three daughters and spouses, two stepsons and spoouses, six grandchildren;, six step-grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and ten step-great-grandchildren.
