Mrs. Williams married Wayne Williams on September 7, 1974. She retired from the State of Tennessee in 1991. After retiring from the state, she worked in the medical field as a nurse. She was a member of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Williams is preceded in death by son Bobby (Ricky) Evilcizer, Jr.; parents Jack (Johnnie) Sloan and Willie (Polly) Vance Sloan of the Eulis Community, Lafayette, TN; brothers Dean Sloan and Billy Sloan, both of Nashville, TN; Ray, Bobby, and Joe Sloan of Westmoreland, TN; sisters Peggy (Sloan) Freeman of Lafeyette, TN, and Kathleen Christian of Nashville, TN.
Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband Wayne Williams of Russellville, KY; step-son Jimmy Williams of Arkansas; sister Ruth Clark Woodard of Westmoreland, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends at Hermitage Funeral Home on Friday, December 31, 2021 from 10am until 11am. A Celebration of Life will begin at 11am in the Tulip Grove Room at the funeral home with Dr. Judson Hayes, officiating. Following the Celebration of Life, Mrs. Williams will be interred in her final resting place in the Garden of Memories Mausoleum at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
