Robert Milton Newman, age 79, of Blaine, Tennessee passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 26, 2021. Robert was born February 26, 1942. He was passionate about his family. Robert had a very strong belief in God. He loved to go to the flea market. Robert worked for Dempster Brothers almost 20 years. He was drafted into the Army and served almost 2 years, stationed in Korea. He will be missed greatly by his family. Robert was preceded in death by parents, Reuben and Vergie Newman; brother, Bill Newman; sister, Linda Carter Newman. He is survived by daughters, Scarlett Newman and Audrey (Richard) Turner; grandchildren, Spencer (Katy) Carpenter, Caitlin Carpenter, Gracie Turner, Abigail Turner, Reuben L. Newman and Trevor Turner; great grandchildren, Jaycie Turner, Tylie Rhea and Liam Carpenter; niece and 3 nephews. Family will receive friends Friday, December 31st from 1pm-3pm at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home with graveside service to follow at 3pm at Lynnhurst Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to orphans, widows and the homeless in his memory.
