Her visitation will be Sunday January 2, 2022 from 12:00Noon - 2:00PM at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville, AL. Funeral service at 2:00PM Chapel, burial to follow in Lynn Cemetery.
She is survived by her children, Cooney (Melissa) Hicks and Vivian (Purvey) Barnes; brother, Johnny (Barbara) Barton; sister, Frances Allred; grandchildren, Jonathan (Andrea) Hicks, Joshua (Mariah) Hicks, Amanda (Brandon) Bartlett, Kris (Tiffany) Jones and Amy (Troy) Suitts; great grandchildren, Morgan Hicks, Deacon Hicks, Maggie Hicks, Braylee Bartlett, Ava Claire Bartlett, Branson Bartlett, Austin Jones, Ansel Jones and Ty Jones; a host of family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Verlie and Flora Mae Barton; husband, Quinton "Red" Sims; brothers, Wallace Barton and David Barton.
