Pamela Renee Foster of West Haven, CT, entered eternal rest in Alexandria, Virginia on April 29, 2021, following a short and courageous battle with a degenerative disease PSP.
Born in New Haven on December 03, 1960, she was the daughter of Audrey B. Chapman, Alexandria, VA. She was predeceased by her father, Frederick Foster (Constance Foster) of Harrisburg, PA. She leaves behind to mourn her daughter, Alicia L. Foster, East Haven, CT; her brother Christopher Foster, Philadelphia, PA, and stepbrothers, Craig and Miles Foster. She was also predeceased by her grandmother, Alice L. Chapman to whom she was very devoted to in life.
Pamela graduated from Howard University with a Bachelor of Science degree and from Yale University with a Master's degree in Public Health. She was employed by the State of Connecticut, Dept. of Public Health, as a Health Program Associate, and she was a member of Bethel A.M.E. Church of New Haven for many years.
Pamela is survived by her Aunts and Uncles, in particular: Sandra Chapman Goodson of Hamden; Marilyn and William Badger of Mashpee, Cape Cod; Thomas Chapman and Cheryl Edmonds of Bethesda, MD; Leon and Evelyn Chapman of New Haven; and her Godmother, Shirley Mero, of Hamden, as well as many devoted cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
The memorial will be private and attended only by her immediate family.
