Andrew Jackson, age 83 of Winchester, passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born October 13, 1938 in Sinking Cove to the late Marion "Jack" and Flossie (Stubblefield) Jackson. Andrew graduated from Franklin County High School, class of 1957. He then married his wife of sixty-two years, Sue Wells Jackson. Andrew was employed as a district supervisor for the State of Tennessee Division of Property Assessments. Upon retirement, he began a second career as a self-employed over the road truck driver. He often bragged that he had seen every state in the union with the exception of Alaska and Hawaii. He is survived by his wife, Sue Wells Jackson; four children, Scott (Lisa) Jackson, Penny (Kurt) Johnson, Deborah Hoosier, and Rhonda (Melvin) Morris, all of Winchester; eleven grandchildren, Lacey Steele, Leslee Newsome, Lauren Bailey, Melissa Sisk, Alec Temples, Kaylee Martin, Kristen McNutt, Devon Gunn, Kassidy Limbaugh, Keaton Tipps, and Andrew Gunn; and twelve great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5-8pm on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, January 3, 2022 in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Bro.
