Kelly Don Colvin was born February 16, 1960, in Hope Mills, North Carolina, the son of Donald and Judith (Salter) Colvin. He graduated from Davenport West High School with the Class of 1978. He proudly served in the United States Army.
Surviving are his wife, Shelly; his mother, Judith Berger; one brother, Casey (Sheri) Colvin of Blue Grass; two sisters, Kathleen (Josh) Chase of North Liberty and Corri Guy of Muscatine; one uncle, Mike (Willo) Salter of Davenport; and eight nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, his step-father, Steve Berger and his grandmother, Betty Salter.
