Diana Lee Taylor, (70) departed unexpectedly to be with her Lord and Savior on December 26th, 2021. With her husband, Jesse Taylor, by her side, she passed at her home in Niles, MI. Diana would tell you not to cry but rejoice that her earthly sufferings are ended, and she would wish for you to celebrate the life she lived. Diana was born to Vera E. Hardy (Lichtenbarger) and John J. Hardy on March 13th, 1951, in Mishawaka, Indiana. She spent her childhood years in Lakeville, IN where she spent much of her time in the sun at the beach. She loved to have adventures, traveling to Europe on her own as a young woman and moving to New York for a time. She began her longest running adventure with Jesse Taylor, being united in marriage, on November 26, 1977. They spent 44 years together raising a family and living life. Diana fulfilled one of her life's dreams to be a mother and is survived by her son, Anthony (Elizabeth) Taylor of Grayslake, Illinois; her daughter, Amber (Ty) Margheim of Vermillion, South Dakota and her five grandchildren. She is also survived by her stepdaughter, Julie (Charlie) Piatowski and their three children and by her stepson Jesse (Pam) Taylor. Diana had a big personality that could light up a room. With a flair for fashion and a heart for God, she founded the Fig Leaf Boutique in 2011 as a free clothing ministry to those in need, which continues to operate today. She had a servant's heart and served with joy, exulting in sharing God's love with others.

A Celebration of Life will be held on January 7, 2021 from 6 to 8pm at River Valley Church, 55855 Bittersweet Rd, Mishawaka, IN 46545.
