Chris worked as a car salesman primarily in the finance department for 20 years until his dementia diagnosis forced his retirement. He enjoyed watching old westerns, following Purdue sports and was a Chicago Bears fan.
Chris is survived by his children, Brittany Biddle of Lafayette, Ryan Traeger of Lafayette, Nicholas Traeger of Indianapolis, and Aubree (husband: Jordan) Buck of Lafayette. Grandchildren, Elijah and Jonah Cox, Magnolia and Genevieve Traeger, Warren and Hudson Buck. Also surviving are siblings, Michael (wife: Stephanie) Willis of West Lafayette, Judy (husband: Gene) Ivanow of Westfield, IN, Mark (Wife: Martha) Willis of Lafayette, Scot (wife: Lynette) Willis of Lafayette, Bruce (wife: Angie) Willis of Racine, WI, and Kathrine J. Willis of Lafayette. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Chris is preceded in death by his parents, John and Barbara Willis.
