BURLINGTON - Ms. Angela Marie Barrett, 45, of Boone Station Drive, died Sunday, Sept. 1, 2013, at the Hospice Home of Alamance-Caswell, after several years of failing health.

Born in Ithaca, N.Y., she was the daughter of Dr. Roy Augustus Barrett and Vonnie Valley Barrett. She was a former teacher with the Guilford and Alamance School Systems and was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Greensboro.

Angela is survived by her mother of Burlington; two sisters, her twin, Jennifer Rorie and husband Reginald, of Enterprise, Ala. and Bernadette Ward and husband, George, of Franklin, Tenn.; brother, John Schaller of Las Vegas, Nev.; three nieces; a nephew; an uncle; special aunt, Valarie; and her fiancé, Charles Robinson of Burlington.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6, 2013, in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Father Bryant Cullinane, O.F.M., Conv. The family will receive friends following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 918 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215 or to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, National Headquarters, 6520 North Andrews Ave., Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309-2130.
