James Martin Fisher was born July 22, 1965, the firstborn son to loving parents Gary and Carol Rodgers Fisher.

Jim passed away December 21, 2021 at Taylor House Hospice in Des Moines, Iowa after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.

Jim was a graduate of West High School in Iowa City, class of 1983.

After high school, Jim began working at Seton's Meat Market in Iowa City, which began a long career of meat cutting, eventually working for HyVee bakery and Lomar Foods.

Jim loved to fish, bowl, golf and cheer for his great Iowa Hawkeyes, spending many years at Iowa home football games and tailgating with family and good friends.
Most of all Jim loves his family and family gatherings.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at Hamilton's on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway in West Des Moines with visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow at Norwalk Cemetery.
