Eddie Eugene Miller, age 73, passed away December 27, 2021, at 12:55 pm, at his residence surrounded by his family.
Eddie was born October 18, 1948 in Cridersville, OH, to Clarence "Slim" and Hannah (Coppler) Miller who preceded him in death.
On February 13, 1971, he married Sheri L.(Shoemaker) Miller who preceded him in death on February 3, 2014.
Eddie had attended Perry High School. After high school he joined the U.S. Army serving during the Vietnam War.
He had worked as a laborer for Northwestern Ohio Pipeline from which he retired in 2010 after 32 years of service. Eddie was a member of the VFW #1275 and the American Legion #96.
Eddie was an accomplished backyard mechanic, an avid St. Louis Cardinals and Elvis fan and he loved his family and pets.
Eddie is survived by his children: Carl (Angie) Miller of Fort Jennings, OH, Shawn (Mary) Miller of Punta Gorda, FL and Eddie (Chastidy) Miller of Pandora, OH, 8 grandchildren: Samantha (James) Staver, Carl Miller, Cole (Laura) Miller, Taylor Miller, Tori Miller, Jordan, Bailee Fruchey, Emma (Ethan) Misamore, 8 great grandchildren and 14 siblings.
There will be a funeral service held on Friday, December 31, 2021 at 11:00 am at the CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, SHAWNEE CHAPEL. Officiating the service will be Pastor Mike Spaulding. Immediately following the services at the funeral home there will be military honors provided by the U.S. Army and the VFW #1275. Burial will be held on Monday, January 3, 2021 at 11:00 am in Lewis Grove Cemetery. Friends may visit on Thursday from 3-7 pm at the SHAWNEE CHAPEL.
