LEXINGTON: Zachary D. Parrott, 23, of Lexington, and presently living in Washington Court House, died Monday December 27, 2021 in Lees Creek, Ohio.
The son of Kenneth and Patricia (Shirk) Parrott, Zach was born August 30, 1998 in Mount Gilead. Zach graduated from Northmor High School in 2017. He was very active in the FFA, receiving his American Degree and won the state FFA Sheep Proficiency Award as well. He loved basketball, and played three years on the Golden Knight's varsity basketball team. He spent much of his youth hunting ducks and turkey with his dad and brother. He also spent much of his free time in the barn caring for his sheep. Zach was successful at the county and state fairs showing his lambs.
He graduated from The Ohio State University in 2020 earning a degree in Agriculture Communications, in three years. He loved and was proud of being an Ohio State Buckeye and passionately cheered for the scarlet and gray.
Zach had a creative soul. He loved music and entertaining. From singing in Knightsounds (Northmor's show choir) to telling jokes on open mic nights, he loved entertaining the crowd. He also had a competitive soul and loved to challenge friends in board games and cards.
