Mapleton, IL - Doretha L. "Dodie" "Dee" Greiner, 78, of Mapleton passed away at 10:12 a.m. on Monday, December 13, 2021, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
She was born on April 26, 1943, in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, daughter of Lucius and Kathlene (Felker) Duncan. She married Alan Greiner on October 9, 1976, in Las Vegas, NV. He survives.
Also surviving are her children, Carri (JR) Andersen Blake of Peoria, Kevin (Virginia) Cravens of Peoria, Jimi (Jodie) Vanderheydt of Bartonville and Kathy (Steve) Scobee of Chillicothe; 12 grandchildren, Matthew, Lukas, Taylor, August, Kyle, Courtney, Brandon, Brittany, Jakob, Maggie, Steven and Emma; 17 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; three sisters, Peggy Thompson of Peoria, Reba (Bill) Mudra of Bartonville and Denise Duncan Hoagland of Orlando, FL; and one brother-in-law, Richard Rudloff of Peoria.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Daphna Rudloff; and one brother-in-law, Harold Thompson.
She worked at Caterpillar, giving 28 years of service to the company, retiring from Benefit Payments in 2001.
Cremation rites will be accorded through Endsley-Sedgwick Funeral Home in Bartonville.
