He worked in the vending business for ARA Vending for more than 30 years before retiring.
He moved to Columbus, Ohio in the early 90s and was a true fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians.
He leaves behind his wife of 13 years, sisters Sandra Smith, Kata "Kay" Walker (Harry), Betty Martin (Paul), His children Vickie Bercsik (Jeff), Cathy Sarver (Mike) and sons Jeff Marler and John Wieland, his loving 7 grandchildren, Kyle Bercsik (Michelle),Kristin Mason (Aaron),Hannah Bercsik, Alissa Sarver, Alex Sarver, Jonah Wieland, Julia Wieland, 4 step-children, 15 step-grandchildren and 3 step-great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins whom he truly loved along with many friends.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
