On December 26, 2021, Sandra Louise Stephens (Sammons) Davis of Summerville, left this world and went to be with our Lord.

Funeral Services will be Friday afternoon, December 31, 2021 at 1 o'clock at Summerville Baptist Church. Entombment will follow in Plantation Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 12 o'clock noon until the time of service.

"Candy," as she was known to her family and friends, is survived by her husband, William L. "Foye" Davis; daughter, Cindy Cooper (Bruce); sons, Mike Sammons (Valerie), and Stephen Sammons (Catherine); sister, Karen Severns; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, J. Marvin Sammons; son, Russell Sammons; and brothers, Bill Stephens and Keith Stephens.

Candy retired from the US Postal Service and many knew her as the "bulk mail lady." She was a faithful member of Summerville Baptist church, and an enthusiastic member of the Joy Singers. For many years she participated in the Lowcountry Singing Christmas Tree, an effort that brought her so much joy. In recent years she and Foye were residents of The Village at Summerville where she made many friends

and enjoyed playing games and fellowship with neighbors in the community. She enjoyed life to the

fullest and shared her enthusiasm with everyone around her.

In lieu of flowers, she has requested that any memorials be made to either Muscular Dystrophy

Association by visiting www.mda.org, or International Rett Syndrome Foundation (www.rettsynrome.org) in honor of two of her special granddaughters.
