Mark was born July 5th, 1962 in Bryan, TX to Richard and Billie Ferguson. He graduated from Bryan High in 1980 and continued his education at Texas A&M University, acquiring the coveted honor of being an "Aggie" graduate with a Bachelor of Economics in 1986. His one constant job throughout high school and college was working at Douglas Jewelers, alongside family members, Ronnie & Sandy Arrington, who were very near and dear to his heart.

In 1999, he became one of the original employees of SFX , which transitioned to Clear Channel, and eventually headed up the Oracle team as Sr. Director - Financial Systems at Live Nation.
Mark's world revolved around his family and friends. He enjoyed traveling to wonderfully exotic places, making long lasting friendships, and helping the underserved. He had great taste and appreciated art and the finer things in life. Mark was a free spirit, never afraid to try something new. His joy of life was contagious and inspired us all. He will forever live on in each of us.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents; Elton and Ruby Ferguson, and Cliff and Elsie Mathis.
