Funeral services for Mr. Michael Lee Roberts will be on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at Hamburg Baptist Church in Roxie, MS at 12:00 PM, with burial to follow in the McNair Cemetery in Roxie, MS. Rev. Larry Ritchie will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Hamburg Baptist Church on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 12:00 PM.
Mr. Michael Lee Roberts, 67, of Roxie, MS, passed from this life on Saturday, December 25, 2021, at his residence. He was born on May 19, 1954 in Ferriday, LA to George Everret Roberts and Cordelia Ann Boa Roberts.
Mike loved his family and spending time with his daughters and grandchildren. He loved the time spent with all his family and cherished the closeness he had with his "babygirl", Julie. He loved to cook breakfast for his family and taking care of his small farm land and animals.
Preceding him in death were his parents, George and Cordelia Roberts and sister, Pamela Hawley.
Survivors are his wife of 27 years, Amanda Roberts; daughters, Christy Roberts of Colorado, Lacie Hogue and husband, Lee, of Vicksburg, Cindy Wilson of Roxie, Jessica Allen-Roberts of Montana; brother, Glen Roberts of McNair; sister, Denise Roberts of McNair, 7 grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Pallbearers are Justin Williams, Paul Allen, Bo Allen, Kyle Wood, Chris Kenney, Jeffery Nunnery, Austin Drewry and Tyler Allen.
Honorary pallbearers are Barney Allen and Gary Allen.
