Funeral services for Mr. Ronald Jerome Thomas, of East Dublin, Georgia, will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at 11 AM at the graveside at the Brown Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, 1210 Buckeye Road in East Dublin where Reverend Cecil Moore is pastor. Reverend Enoch Waters will deliver the eulogy.
Mr. Ronald Jerome Thomas was born on Sunday, December 26, 1965, to the late Roosevelt and Mable Thomas, Sr. He attended East Laurens High School. He furthered his education at Paine College in Augusta. He was a devoted member of the Brown Grove Baptist Church where he served faithfully as a deacon for many years.
In his early adult life, he worked in Industry, with the Department of Corrections, at Irish Moving Company, and Trucks Incorporated. He also worked for B&H Transportation and at Laurens County Schools. He was a dedicated entrepreneur with a variety of business avenues. Among his most memorable qualities were his effective coaching skills and bubbly sense of humor. He supported his children and grandchild in their games, pageants, and endeavors. He possessed comedic abilities that allowed everyone to be filled with joy and happiness.
Mr. Thomas departed this life on Friday, December 25, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roosevelt and Mable Thomas, Sr.; son, Jordan Thomas; brother, Ricky Reese; and grandparents, Louis and May Will Thomas
